Tapia's next battle will be rehabbing from surgery, following the knee injury that scuttled his June 1 WEC title challenge against Torres. However, upon return, he will likely be the man to challenge for the WEC crown. In the meantime, "The Mangler" benefits from the absence of Daniel Lima and the loss of Chase Beebe, rising from tenth to eighth.
